The Portage County Senior Center, in coordination with The Portage Park District, would like to invite all seniors to join them for a fun opportunity to socialize with friends and get a little exercise,  all the while enjoying the beauty of what our parks have to offer.  Jennifer  and Becca from the Portage Park District will lead the group on several “Senior Turtle” hikes”, which will be at a little slower pace, and for those seniors who are a bit more active, “Senior Rabbit” hikes will be offered too.  All hikes begin at 12:00 noon, and seniors are asked to meet at the kiosk or trailhead.  Keep in mind that no pets are permitted on these guided hikes, and for more information regarding the hikes, The Park District can be reached at 330-297-7728.  The senior center can be reached at 330-297-3456 and provides many opportunities for Portage County Seniors in the area.  They are located at 705 Oakwood St. (Floor G) in Ravenna.
