Portage County Plans Health & Safety Fall Family Fun Fest

Ravenna – Family and Community Services and the Portage County Health District are hosting a Health & Safety Fall Family Fun Fest that will be held on Thursday, October 6th,  from 4pm – 7pm at the Family and Community Services Building, located at 705 Oakwood St. Ravenna, OH. This event is free and open to the public. All Portage County families are welcome!

The purpose of this event is to show Portage County residents the vast number of programs and services available to the community located in the building. There will be family friendly activities with prizes and food. The health district will also be hosting a community flu shot clinic. Along with the Portage County Health District and Family & Community Services, agencies participating in this event include: Ohio State Extension Office, Portage Parks and Recreation, and Home Instead. The FCS programs participating are: Help Me Grow, Big Brother Big Sister, Senior Center, HESS, Senior Care, and Consumer Credit Services.

With food being provided and raffle prizes to be won, The Portage County Health District and programs of Family and Community Services invite you to attend the 2016 Health and Safety Fall Family Fun Fest.

The department has services and programs to promote better health, prevent diseases, and focus on providing individuals with a better quality of life.
