Pipeline Workshop: Pitfalls and Protections: A Workshop sponsored by Concerned Citizens Ohio

Time:  7:30-9:00 P.M. Thursday Evening, Sept. 19, 2013

Where:  9052 State Route 14, Unit D (The Eagles Meeting Hall–north end of building) Streetsboro, Ohio 44241. The building is directly across Route 14 from K Mart in Streetsboro.

The workshop will include legal information about easements, citizens’ rights, eminent domain, and a segment on “Defend Yourself,” a Citizen Self-Protection Plan. Printed leasing information with do’s and don’ts,  handouts, a filebox for records, folders, planning calendar,and other supplies are included.

Our purpose is to answer questions arising from the new pipelines proposed through 16 Ohio counties (especially Portage, Summit, Stark, Geauga, and Medina ) and help citizens locate easements already on their lands or provide information about easements proposed by landmen now moving through this area.

The workshop is FREE although donations are gratefully accepted to help with our materials costs.  Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration guarantees your place with supplies.
