Join the Anti-Social Book Club

Too busy for a normal book club? No worries! Join the Anti-Social Book Club at the Garrettsville Library starting on Monday, June 3 and take a book to-go! This book subscription box runs completely in your own time. Plus, you get some cool free stuff! This month’s theme is Killer Content.

Each monthly box has a unique theme. In each box you can expect the book of the month, a themed craft, snacks, and some cool loot! All you have to do is bring back the box and the book, and then participate in the discussion virtually. Options for participating in the discussion include responding to the PCDL Instagram post, Facebook post, or simply through email!

Contact Delany at the Garrettsville branch with any and all questions! This program is intended for teens.

The Summer Reading Challenge is here!

The countdown is on… the adventure is starting at your PCDL Branch! Our Summer Reading Challenge is almost here! Download the Beanstack app or register online beginning June 3 to track reading minutes and participate in fun activities to earn virtual tickets and badges. Tickets can be entered into an online raffle drawing for a chance to win some awesome prizes.

Visit portagecountyoh.beanstack.com/reader365 to pre-register for the challenge and remember to start logging your reading progress beginning June 3!

Printable copies of the challenge are available on our website: portagelibrary.org/summer for those who would like to mark their progress on paper. We are so excited to kick-off summer reading, we hope you can join us!
