Patty Ann Jahn, 79, of Twinsburg passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. She was born July 21, 1944, in Anawalt, WV, to Perry H. and Ruth A. (Cook) Lewis. Her family moved to Cleveland, Ohio, when she was a very young girl.  She was the #1 champion marble shooter against other elementary children in the Cleveland School System. Her family moved to Mantua, Ohio, a short time after that. She attended Crestwood Local schools where she met,fell in love and married Richard Jahn.  They had two boys who were her entire world. Patty fiercely loved her family and friends unconditionally, with everything she had. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for someone she loved. She suffered several tragedies in her lifetime. Always picking up the pieces, taking on life’s challenges with a sheer force of determination, bravery,  strength, and love. She had a way of plowing through hurt and sadness, doing whatever needed done, to overcome and get life back to normal. She loved all things Elvis Presley and collected anything with a Dogwood flower on it. Patty retired from Chrysler Corporation in Streetsboro, where she worked in quality control. She was a member of the UAW and was in charge of organizing the adult educational classes for her fellow union members. Patty was a lifelong learner and was always ready to learn something new. Survivors include her son Kevin (Karen) Jahn and niece Cindy (Nick Council)Jahn, her beloved dog Baby, and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard D., son Robert P., her beloved dog Honey and brother James C. Lewis. Per her request, cremation has taken place. A private family burial at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua was on Monday April 29, 2024. A celebration of her life and a luncheon was held at Hilltop Christian Church in Mantua, Ohio on Sunday April 28, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 pm.
