Northeast Ohio has been featured in several films lately, but if you didn’t get in on the action, you’ve got another shot.
On Wednesday, February 2nd, attend a Hollywood-style premiere for the feature film “The Other Side of Darkness.” The family-friendly action film weaves the tale of A 16 year-old girl’s mysterious birthday gift that leads her and her friends on a collision course towards a plot to dismantle America’s power grid. This film was shot in Northeast Ohio (including Garrettsville) by former Garrettsville native Vinny Sisson and Canton Native Adam Deierling.
Tickets for the movie screening include walking the red carpet (complete with professional photographers), an introduction by the film’s producers followed by Q & A after the event. The event takes place at the Highland Square Theatre (826 West Market Street, Akron) Doors open at 6 pm, screening starts at 7 pm.
