The Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard is participating in the Feinstein Foundation Million Dollar Challenge to Fight Hunger during the months of March and April. For the past 16 years, the Feinstein Foundation has been dividing one million dollars among non-profit hunger fighting agencies nationwide. Past Million Dollar Challenges have raised $2 Billion for over 1800 organizations across the county. Your donation towards this campaign will make you a partner in the most successful ongoing grassroots effort ever to fight hunger.
The challenge is easy. The more donations the Nelson Garrettsville Community Cupboard receives during March and April, the more Feinstein Challenge money it will receive. Food item donations count as well. NGCC will be credited $1.00 for every item of food collected during the challenge. Checks can be mailed to NGCC, P.O. Box 210, Garrettsville, OH 44231 or dropped off at Middlefield Bank. Food donations can be dropped off at the Cupboard located at 8147 Center Street during regular hours; Monday 3:00-6:00pm and Wednesday 9:00am-noon.
