Nancy Keyser-Miller, 63, of Garrettsville, went to be with her Lord on October 24, 2024, at 9:18 a.m. She was born on June 6, 1961, in Warren, OH, the daughter of the late John and Genevieve Thellman, and lived a life filled with love and family.
She was happiest when around people and her favorite job was driving for the Amish in her community. Nancy loved to cook, and although she excelled at most cooking and baking, her sugar cookies are famous! Nancy also loved her flower garden, loved being a Grammy, and was a proud 8-year member of AA.
Nancy will be remembered most for her unconditional kindness and her life-altering hugs. She was an abundantly loving, warm-hearted woman, to whom no one was a stranger. With her kindness and support, she changed many lives for the better.
She will by deeply missed by those left to cherish her memory: her husband, Shawn Miller; daughter, Amanda (Aaron) Dean; granddaughter Madison Dean; stepdaughter, Christina (Danny Coleman) Taylor; stepson, Shane Hayes; grandchildren Brittney Taylor, Alexis Taylor, Benjamin Flora and Cheyenne Hayes; and many family and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Kevin Lee Keyser; her first husband, Kenneth Lee Keyser, and her step-grandson, Jordan Christopher Hayes.
The family invited family and friends to honor Nancy’s memory on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH, 44231. Visitation was followed by funeral services at 1 p.m., officiated by Rev. David Black. Nancy will be inurned at a later date at Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Township.
