Myrna Seiler, 75, of Garrettsville, went home to her Lord and Savior Friday, December 30, 2022. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 8, 1947, to the late Samuel and Gertrude (nee Coughill) Coyle.

She loved life. Myrna cherished spending time with family, especially attending her grandchildren’s activities. She also found joy in crocheting blankets, hot pads, dish rags, and doilies. Myrna was an avid reader, often reading books suggested by friends. She could be seen cheering for the Cleveland Indians and the Michigan Wolverines. Myrna spent many years boating and watching beautiful sunsets with friends and family at Marble Lake in Quincy, Michigan. One of her favorite activities was socializing with friends far and near. In recent years, Myrna found pleasure in being a snowbird in Palmetto, Florida.
Myrna will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Nelson “Butch” Seiler, who was blessed to share 53 years of marriage; children Sean (Shannon) Seiler and Traci (Michael) Hohman; grandchildren, Ryan, Sara, Aby, and Madi; brothers, Russel and Dennis, and sister, Ruth Ann.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, John, Bill, and Sam, Jr. “Butch”.
The family met with friends to honor Myrna for a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Garrettsville United Methodist Church, 8223 Park Ave., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A memorial service began at the church at 12:00 P.M., with Rev. Richard Thewlis officiating. Myrna was then be laid to rest at Park Cemetery, 8588 Center St. in Garrettsville, immediately after the service. Care for Myrna was entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
