Ravenna – You can purchase native plants and a wide variety of other plants- hanging baskets, vegetables, and herbs at the upcoming OSU Extension Portage County Master Gardener Volunteers’ annual Plant Sale on May 12 from 9 am – 2 pm. The sale will be held at 6970 SR 88, Ravenna. Help support pollinators while adding beauty at the same time. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and make suggestions based on your unique gardening vision.
Beyond the spectacular collection of plants, Master Gardeners will also be selling Trash & Treasure items. These gently used items for your home and garden will make a great addition to any residence at an affordable price.
This fundraising event goes to support the numerous programs of the Master Gardener Volunteers in the community. In 2017 alone, Portage County Master Gardener Volunteers had nearly 3,000 hours of community service, worth roughly $70,000!
