Mark Magnus Johnson passed away June 2, 2017, peacefully, with his 4 dogs around him. Niece Jessica (Johnson) Lentz,her husband John Lentz, and brother Nicholas Johnson, were with him and will miss him a lot. Mark was predeceased by father Floyd R. Johnson, mother Eve Autere Johnson, and brother, Joseph Luther Johnson. Mark’s sister Jacqueline (Johnson) Schoder, husband Burton, brother Nathan Johnson, sister Rachel (Johnson) Ware, husband Donnie, sister in law Barbara Johnson and Aunt Hazel (Johnson)Dickens, mourn his passing also, as well as nieces and nephews, Carrie, Sarah, Laura (Rachel’s daughters) Joey Johnson and Robyn (Joe’s son and daughter),Julia Schoder Graham, Burton K. Schoder III, wife Elizabeth,(Burt and Jackie’s son and daughter).
Mark graduated from Petoskey High School in 1968, entered the army and was sent to Viet Nam in 1969, got out in 1971 and attended Rhett’s Electricians school. He worked at Robatron, in Detroit until 1997 when he took the job at Chrysler in Twinsburg Ohio. As a welder, electrician, and handyman of all sorts, Mark could fix anything, to which family and neighbors can attest!
