Mark A. Brady, 61, of Garrettsville, OH, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024. He was born January 8, 1963, in Gassaway, WV, to the late Richard G. Brady and Dolores (nee Sampson) Brady-McCumbers.
He was a graduate of James A. Garfield High School, belonging to the class of 1981. Mark was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He was lucky to have reconnected with his high school sweetheart, Tammie, upon return, and shortly, they married. Mark was an integral part of Garrettsville and was honored to belong and serve in many organizations in and around the village. He was the past president of the Portage Co. Realtors Association, as well as the past president of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary. Mark was past master of the Garrettsville Masonic Lodge, #246, and a past member of the Garrettsville Fraternal Order of Eagles, #2705. Mark was a current member of the Garrettsville Chamber of Commerce. He was the co-owner and broker of McCumbers-Brady Realty, giving over 30 years of real estate expertise in the community he loved. In his younger years he enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and kayaking. As he matured, Mark liked to listen to good music and solve puzzles. He was a man who truly liked people; if you met him, you weren’t a stranger for long. Above all else, Mark loved his family, and his favorite place to be was with them.
Mark will be deeply missed by his wife, Tammie (nee Barna) Brady, with whom he was blessed to share over 35 years of marriage; children, Justin (deceased), Shawn, and Danielle; bonus son, Mitchell (Monica) Kasunick; mother, Dolores (Tony) McCumbers; brothers, Glen Brady, Brian Brady, Joseph (Ronda) Brady, and Russell (Tanya) Brady, and many extended family members and dear, dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and son.

The Masonic service will begin at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Mark will then be taken to Fairview Cemetery in Hiram, OH, where he will be given military honors, then lovingly laid to rest near his father and his son.
