Lowella T. Skiles, 78, of Windham, went home to her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was born on August 2, 1944, in Charleston, WV, to the late James and Mary (nee Smith) Jones.
She enjoyed reading, quilting, crocheting, painting, cooking and spending time with family. Lou really enjoyed cake decorating after attending the Cleveland Cake Decorating School. She was proud to be a member of the Windham United Methodist Church and was a member of Blankets of Love. Lou worked as an inspector at Energizer for 25 years.
Lou will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Harry Skiles, who whom she was blessed to share 61 years of marriage; children, Scott (Anne) Skiles and Tracy Roper; grandchildren, Teza Roper, Harry Skiles, Jimmy Skiles, Jason Skiles, Hailey Skiles and Hannah Skiles; siblings, Timothy Jones and Laura (Casey) Hunt and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Denise Robertson, and son-in-law, Max Roper.
Her family was joined in honoring her life during a visitation on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Windham United Methodist Church. A funeral service began at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Sandi Greenberg officiating.
