Local students provide tech help to the community at Garrettsville & Randolph Libraries this fall

587

On October 8th, Mr. Randy Cutlip’s students from James A. Garfield High School were lending a helping hand at the Garrettsville Library. From 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, these students assisted community members with technology-related tasks as part of the “Tech Help from Teens” program, offering a valuable service to residents.

This initiative, hosted by the Portage County District Library, provides an opportunity for local students to apply their tech skills while giving back to the community. The program is available at both the Garrettsville and Randolph Library Branches, where community members can drop in with any technology-related questions. Whether it’s troubleshooting computers, phones, apps, or software, the students will be on hand to offer support. Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices if applicable.

For those interested in attending the upcoming sessions, the Randolph Library will host their tech help on Friday, October 11 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Garrettsville Library’s next tech help session is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.
