As the Advent season approaches, Northern Portage Catholic Parishes have announced their adoration and reconciliation schedules for parishioners seeking spiritual preparation for Christmas.

Regular reconciliation sessions are set to take place throughout the week at various churches, providing opportunities for confession and spiritual guidance. Starting from Monday to Wednesday evenings, parishioners can attend confession sessions at St. Ambrose in Garrettsville, St. Joan of Arc in Streetsboro, and St. Joseph in Mantua from 6 pm to 6:30 pm.

Additionally, Saturday afternoons offer more chances for reconciliation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Aurora at 3:30 pm and again at St. Joan of Arc in Streetsboro at 4:00 pm.

In anticipation of the upcoming Advent, the parishes have scheduled special reconciliation opportunities. These sessions aim to provide a deeper spiritual experience and a chance for communal reflection.

The Advent season kicks off on Sunday, December 3rd, with a special one-hour reconciliation session at St. Joan of Arc in Streetsboro from 3 pm to 4 pm. This is followed by sessions at St. Ambrose in Garrettsville on Monday, December 4th, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and another at St. Joan of Arc on Thursday, December 7th, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Subsequent services are scheduled at St. Joseph in Mantua and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Aurora on Friday, December 8th, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

Continuing through December, the parishes have arranged several additional opportunities. On Sunday, December 10th, St. Joseph in Mantua will host a session from 3 pm to 4 pm, followed by the Portage Communal Penance Service at Immaculate Conception in Ravenna on Monday, December 11th, at 7 pm.

The schedule further includes sessions on Sunday, December 17th, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Aurora, on Tuesday, December 19th, at St. Joan of Arc in Streetsboro, and on Wednesday, December 20th, at St. Joseph in Mantua, all from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
