Lloyd Bryan McPherson, 79, of Windham, OH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at his home with family. He was born January 25, 1945, in Confluence, PA, to the late Lloyd “Mac” and Betty (nee Lytle) McPherson.
He was raised in Windham, and was a proud graduate of Windham High School, belonging to the class of 1962. Lloyd served 6 years in the U.S. Army, then went to work at Harbison-Walker Refractories in Windham, OH, until his retirement after 42 years of employment. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and above all else, spending time with his family and friends.
Lloyd will be deeply missed by his children, Denise (Bob) Konnerth, Brennelle (Todd) O’Donnell, Charity (Mike) Showalter, Brandon McPherson, and Christopher “C.J.” McPherson; grandchildren, Brett, Shawnie, John, Mikhaila, Jackie, Mikey, Victoria, and Grayson; great grandchildren, Stacy, Cameron, Landon, Laynee, Reece, Carter, Blake, and Brooklyn; great great grandchild, Kaizen; siblings, Patty (Jim) Moore, Kay (Kenny) Friend, Joe (Connie) McPherson and Warren McPherson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian L. McPherson; siblings, Ronald McPherson, Roger (Dolores) McPherson, and Dorothy Carpenter.
