Léon Chehin-Merryman, 1 year old, of Garrettsville passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was born on September 16, 2017 in Ravenna, Ohio to Jacob Merryman and Ashlyn Chehin.
His bright blue eyes, blonde hair, dimple and personality captivated all who knew him. Léon made friends wherever he went. He loved animals of all shapes and sizes and being outdoors was his most favorite place to be.
Léon is survived by his loving parents; grandparents, Dan and Bobbi “Dilly” Merryman and Jennifer “Jen Mama” Baldwin (Jerry Orie); great grandparents, Michael “Poppy” and Willie “MorMor” Baldwin, Sandra “Gamma” Bitterman and Marcel “Opa” and Raja “Oma” Chehin; uncles, Devin Chehin and Rob Merryman; aunts, Candice (Hannah Abell) Chehin and his 3 dogs, Oakley, Kai and Mitch.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Léon Chehin; great grandparents, Frank “Pop” Bitterman, Robert (Marian) Edgar and Lou (Nancy) Merryman.

Celebration of life services were held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 12-8 PM at 12008 State Route 88, Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Léon’s name to The Children’s Advocacy Center of Portage County, 6847 N. Chestnut St., Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
