“Know the 10 Signs” Alzheimer’s Program at the Garrettsville Library

1647

The Garrettsville Branch Library is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association to present its “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters” program on Tuesday, March 3 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.  If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts. Early detection of Alzheimer’s disease gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future.  This is an interactive program which features video clips of people with Alzheimer’s disease. This is a free program open to the public. Call the Alzheimer’s Association at 1-800-272-3900 to register for this program.

The Garrettsville Library, a Portage County District Library branch, is located at 10482 South Street in Garrettsville.  Library service hours are Mondays-Wednesdays 10:00 am-8:00 pm; 10:00 am-6:00 pm on Fridays; 9:00 am-5:00 pm on Saturdays; and closed Thursdays and Fridays.
