Keo Mae Brobst, 93 years of age of Windham, passed away T hursday, April 27, 2023. Born in Nelson Township, Ohio on September 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Algie and Margaret (Brannon) Chalker. A home maker, she had been a lifetime Windham and Nelson Township resident, and a 1947 graduate of Nelson High School. While Keo enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and playing the piano, she will fondly be remembered for her telephone times, calling the neighbors, and that she never met a stranger. On May 14, 1954, she married Donald Brobst, who preceded her in death in 2008. Also preceding was her sister Rhea Lewis. Survivors include her children Fred Brobst, Debra Brobst and Janet Brobst, all of Windham, and her sister Donna Barnett of Parkman.
Calling hour will be Friday, May 5, 2023, at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the Corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, from 1:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M., where her funeral service will then begin at 2:30 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Matthew Brobst . Final resting place will be at Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Township.
