Kathleen F. Brobst, 76 years of age of Windham, went home to be with her Savior on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

athy was born on August 26, 1946 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Burr) Case. She was a Windham area resident since 1979, and a member of the Windham Bible Church. Her church involvement included Children’s Ministries such as: Pioneer Club, WBC Kids, Children’s Church, and CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship). Kathy was a graduate of Leavittsburg High School in 1964, following which she graduated from Malone College in 1968 with a BS in Biology. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her Master’s in Botany in 1971. On June 26, 1971, she married her beloved husband Daniel D. Brobst, who survives at home.

Kathy was employed at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren as a medical technologist. Her life then became one of a home maker raising her children and being a devoted wife. She and Dan enjoyed traveling, including visiting National Parks and spending time outdoors in nature. Her loving children Matthew (Leslie) Brobst of Braceville, Rachel (John) Hancock of Damascus, and cherished grandchildren Emily, Jaiden, Evan, Josiah, Daniel, Eliana, Gideon, and her brother Richard (Rita) Case of Warren all survive.

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 18 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, May 19 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Windham Bible Church, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Pastor Bob Harner and Pastor Matthew Brobst will be officiating. A grave side memorial will follow at Harrington Cemetery in Nelson Twp.
