Time to start planning for spring and summer! Geauga Fresh Farmers’ Market will be holding a meeting for new and current members on February 24th, 2018 at 1:00pm in the Patterson Center located in the Geauga County Extension Building at the Geauga County Fairgrounds to discuss many topics including: signups, liability insurance, GAP training, along with tips for successful selling and marketing. Light snacks will be provided. You are encouraged to bring your business cards, samples for other vendors to try or any information you would like share with us. Help us make this a great year for everyone!

The meeting is open to anyone considering the market this year so feel free to share this with your friends and family if you think they might be a good fit for the market. We have openings available for new farmers and vendors interested in joining our market. Some of the openings include vendors specializing in locally grown produce, cheese, jams and jellies, baked goods, coffee/tea, as well as food stands and chefs for demonstrations. Applicants must be energetic, creative, and dependable.
