Jenna Canale Selected for 2025 Ohio 4-H State Fashion Board

Jenna Canale, a devoted 4-H member from Portage County, has been selected as a member of the 2025 Ohio 4-H Fashion Board recognizing her outstanding achievements in 4-H clothing and textile projects. The Ohio 4-H Fashion Board is a prestigious group of youth leaders who serve as ambassadors for the 4-H clothing and textiles program across the state. Members of the board are selected based on their dedication, expertise, and leadership in clothing related projects.

Jenna, the daughter of Mike and Jodi Canale, is a 16-year-old sophomore at Southeast High School, maintains a 4.0 GPA. A dedicated 4-H member, Jenna serves as the president of the Edinburg Seambusters 4-H Club, a member of the Portage Prime Producers 4-H Club, and member of the Portage County Junior Fairboard. She was also selected to serve as a 4-H camp counselor for the past two years.

Jenna takes on a variety of 4-H projects, from clothing and textiles to market animals such as turkeys, goats, and swine. Her 4-H project experience also includes other life skills projects such as club leadership.

Her dedication extends beyond 4-H into her school community, where she is deeply involved in extracurricular activities. Jenna participates in cross country, basketball, track, and danceline. She also contributes her time to various clubs including Climate Change Leadership Club, Leadership Club, Student Council, Leos Club, and Fellowship of Christian Students. Jenna currently serves as the Sophomore Class Treasurer.

As part of her responsibilities with the Ohio 4-H State Fashion Board, Jenna has already contributed by helping lead a class at the Ohio 4-H Conference this past March. This summer, she will assist in coordinating and helping run the three days of clothing judging and the style revue at the Ohio State Fair in August.

Jenna’s commitment to excellence in her academics, extracurricular activities, and her contributions to 4-H demonstrate a remarkable dedication to personal growth and community engagement. Her selection to the Ohio 4-H State Fashion Board is a testament to her hard work and passion for making a difference.
