Jeffrey “Whitey” Wayne Dragovich, 56, of Nelson Township, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021. He was born April 21, 1965, in Warren to Paul Dragovich and Barbara Bennett.
He was a James A. Garfield graduate in 1983 where he lettered in wrestling during his high school years. Jeff was employed with Tri County Painting in Brecksville, Ohio, where he was very well liked by his employer who stressed how much he will be missed.
Jeff loved many outdoor activities; snowmobiling, water skiing, camping, fishing, and hunting were his favorites. He was blessed with many good friends; a lot were from his school days. Jeff will also be missed by his little friend, Owen Grenier, who he had known from infancy, and looked on Jeff as a father figure. Special thank you goes out to Kathryn Ellison and Cassandra Grenier who were very dear friends for years and helped so much throughout his illness.
Jeff will be deeply missed by his siblings; Paul (Cindy) Dragovich, Nancy (Rodger) Miller, Deborah Dragovich, ReBecca (William) Mzik, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara B. Bennett-Baer; stepfather, Franklin D. Baer, and father, Paul Dragovich.
Per Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place and care for Jeff was entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, OH 44231. A Celebration of Life will be held in Jeff’s honor Friday, June 25th, 2021, from 5:00PM – 9:00PM at Nelson Community Center 11642 Nelson Township Square (Nelson Circle), Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
