James “Jim” H. Bloom, 47,  of Garrettsville, OH, was sadly taken from those who loved him; he suffered a severe heart attack and tragically experienced major brain damage, which ultimately caused his passing. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with the ones he loved. He would always go out of his way to help people in need and make everyone around him smile. Jim was larger than life. He has so many friends, including those he worked with at Cabinetworks (Kraftmaid).

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Stacey, son, Justin, step-son Jackson (Bailey Madison) Neer, and step-daughter, Madison (Ryan) Kelley; father, James Bloom; mother, Jessie Bloom; daughters, Kaila (Owen) Scannell and Lainey Harris; aunt, Wanda Hankins, and life-long friends, Jim and Deb Atkin.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois and Herbert Owens, and uncle, Dennis Owens.

Please join the family for a memorial visitation Saturday, November 2, 2024, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m.
