Jacqueline Kaye “Jackie” Kovacs, 82, of Ravenna, formerly of West Virginia, passed away February 29, 2024, at Woodlands Health and Rehabilitation Center of Ravenna. She was born February 6, 1942, in Fort Bragg, VA, to the late John Carl and Anna Catherine (nee Cronenberg) Perry.
She attended the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., and enjoyed doing Name Art for friends, family, and some lucky celebrities. Jackie was a very generous person who would share her art with all who was fortunate to know her and call her a friend.
Jackie will be deeply missed by children, Jozsef Tibor Kovacs, Jr., Debra (Kevin) Thornhill, and Douglas (Michelle) Kovacs; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Miller, and many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jozsef Tibor Kovacs, Sr., who was blessed to share 58 years of marriage, and her sister, Anna Lee Kippes.
Per Jackie’s wishes, she is to be cremated. Jackie and Jozsef will be privately laid to rest together in Windham Township Cemetery. Care for Jackie was entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
