Vice president Kit Semplak presided at the May 19, 2025 meeting of the James A. Garfield Historical Society, where the following topics were under discussion :
The new JAGHS sign to be hung will require new brackets (black). Information signs will be on the Mott Building front windows during the car shows this summer, letting people know the regular hours. Duties and intern access to internet for the summer, as well as research possibilities were discussed–organizing, updating, storage. Kudos to Pat Semplak for her care and treatment of the small JAGHS garden. The monument fix is still on hold–coming soon. Program for the coming year will be discussed, same for an audit of the books.
