Newton Falls – There’s a hidden gem in downtown Newton Falls — Nature’s Rustic Design & Consign.
Established in December 2014, just in time for the Christmas holiday, owners Connie Rager and her daughter Heather, opened the store with the intent to keep business local. “Newton Falls has always had unique and quaint shops, which is why we felt the need to open our store. Our goal is to help residents decorate with Americana-themed decor. We offer many handcrafted, repurposed items that are one of a kind,” says owner Connie.
Besides household decor, the store is filled with homemade jewelry, soaps and candles. This is the perfect place to find that special gift. I walked out with a white washed bird house on a pedestal for just $10.00. What a find!
The store is redone during Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, offering many creative gifts and decorations for each holiday. During these months, a toy box is placed inside the store for donations to help families less fortunate. Also, Santa Claus comes to visit during their Holiday Open House which will be held this year December 15th – 17th. Santa comes prepared with a stuffed animal for every little visitor.
