Dear Editor:
I would like to extend my appreciation for all the kind and generous people that made the Rose’s Rescue Pasta 4 Paw a huge success. So many were involved I wish we could thank you all in person. There are the generous people and merchants that donated such wonderful gifts for raffle, those that donated money and food items to cover the cost of the dinner, the news media for posting the event, the wonderful public for coming out that day, the many volunteers that worked so diligently, and of course the Brown Middle School art students for providing paintings of our animals.
What a wonderful combined effort to help animals in need. The profits from that one day will allow us to help so many more homeless pets out there.
Anyone interested in the Rose’s Rescue events, please check out our website at www.rosesrescue.net. Click on the events button for a list of when we will be out and about.
Also, please support the Doggie Play Land Project. Rose’s Rescue is sponsoring this fund raiser to build a large run area at the Portage Co Dog Warden’s Shelter. We are getting very close to our goal and hope to start construction of the fencing very soon. You can help us out there by donating at www.gofundme.com/Doggie-Play-Land. This project will help those dogs Rose’s Rescue is unable to pull out of the dog pound. Help them have a place to run and play and just be a dog while they are awaiting their new home.
Again, all of us here at Rose’s Rescue thanks the community for all their wonderful support. We certainly could not do what we do without you.
Remember, spay or neuter your pets. Put Rose’s Rescue out of business. No more homeless pets.
Sincerely,
Rose, the volunteers, and the furry friends of Rose’s Rescue.
