Aurora – The Aurora Memorial Library will offer a program for homeschooling parents on Saturday, August 20, at 2:00 p.m. Returning presenter Sarah Powlison will discuss motivating your children, dealing with opposition, making a connection with other homeschoolers, and finding free and low cost ways to supplement your child’s education. Powlison is an experienced homeschooling parent and a strong advocate for parents wishing to homeschool their children.
Parents who attend the upcoming presentation will also learn about some of the library’s many free electronic databases for children and guide books for homeschooling parents.
