The quaint charm of Newton Falls will come alive on Saturday, November 30th, as the town hosts its highly anticipated “Christmas in the Falls” celebration. Set to run from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., the event promises a festive evening packed with holiday cheer.
The highlight of the night will be a special acoustic performance by The Miss Americanas, a Taylor Swift tribute band based in Newton Falls. Known for their fresh takes on Swift’s music, the group will bring “The Miss Americanas Lite” to Emilia’s Sole Alleata (Emilia’s Sun Alley) during the town’s tree lighting ceremony. Led by Newton Falls native Makayla McIntosh and guitarist Rob Walters, the duo will perform a blend of Taylor Swift’s hits and holiday favorites in an intimate, acoustic set.
In addition to live music, the festivities will feature food trucks, a coffee stand, live nativity, horse-drawn carriage rides, a parade, and special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, and more. Downtown businesses will remain open, offering family-friendly activities and contests. Organizers are even hinting at a petting zoo and reindeer to add to the holiday magic.
With a small-town ambiance reminiscent of a Hallmark Christmas movie, “Christmas in the Falls” promises a magical night of festive fun for all ages.
