Quick! Mark your calendar for the Hiram Farm Family Festival, being held at11485 Garfield Rd. (St. Rtes.700 & 82), Hiram Ohio, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., August 26, 2017.
This will be a FREE event, with all sorts of activities—2 bounce houses, hayrides, face painting, music, crafts, visits with farm animals—for the whole family. And there will be lunch and snacks available for purchase.
It will be an opportunity to see the farm, spend a day looking around, and learn who “the farmers” are, as well as what they do there.
It will also be the occasion of the presentation of an award to The Farm from the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation, an entity established by a group of finance/insurance professionals and financed through a telethon fundraiser to make awards furthering worthwhile community organizations and programs. From among the fifteen to twenty thousand participants, two local members, Ken Pike and Tyson Vines, will be in attendance to express support for the concept and the activities of The Farm in the form of a three thousand dollar grant ($3000) for their continuation and development. Members of The Farm’s board of directors and superintendent Dave Lundeen will be accepting the generous grant at noon on Saturday, August 26.
You can be part of the festivities. Come on down!
