Hiram Community Trust Grant Applications Due May 10

822

The Hiram Community Trust was established in 1991 through the generosity of Reign Hadsell, a graduate of the Hiram College class of 1926. Reign was not only a Hiram College graduate, but he was also a former principal at the Hiram Public School, and a resident of Hiram Village. Reign’s generosity to the community continues through the Hiram Community Trust. Since its foundation, the Hiram Community Trust has provided over $500,000 for projects that make Hiram and its surrounding communities a distinctive and special place to live. It was Reign Hadsell’s wish that the projects funded by the Hiram Community Trust promote a spirit of cooperation among Hiram Village, Hiram Township, Hiram College, and James A. Garfield and Crestwood Local Schools. A grant from the Hiram Community Trust provides a wonderful opportunity to fund campus and community programs.

Applications to apply for a 2024-2025 grant are now available. Funding is extremely competitive. Grant applications are due by May 10, 2024. Last year, grants receiving funding ranged from $500 to $5,500. Preference for funding will be given to collaborative projects that reach a wide audience.

To obtain a grant application and/or a copy of the Hiram Community Trust Grant Application Guidelines, contact the Hiram Community Trust, c/o Kelly Johns at johnskm@hiram.edu.
