GPA Holds Tournament

991

The Garrettsville Pickleball Association (GPA) held its first Round Robin tournament on Saturday, May 11th.  There were 22 participants, combining our Novice group that plays on Monday/Wednesday/Fridays, and our Intermediate group that plays on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturdays, for a morning of fun and fellowship.

Congratulations to winners Katie Kelley and David Vincent in the final playoff.

A special thank you to Kim Curry, Operations Director of YMCA, for allowing us to secure last minute indoor play at the YMCA, due to rainy weather.  We appreciate you Kim!

Just a reminder – the GPA sponsors FREE Beginner Clinics the first Saturday of every month, from 10-12:00, at the Park Avenue courts across from the YMCA, throughout the summer.  We invite and encourage you to join us in America’s fastest growing sport, and join our Garrettsville Pickleball Association as well.
