Giving Thanks from NGCC

2243

This holiday season, amidst the vast uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, NGCC has a great deal to be thankful for. Our community is a generous and special place, our volunteers give unconditionally and our patrons always demonstrate a genuine thanks for the services they utilize. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped NGCC thrive, for our patrons who need our services now more than ever before.

Our community
The support of our community is the foundation of our success. Our businesses are bombarded with requests to support fundraisers through donations and sponsorships, and they come through each and every time with monetary donations as well as food drives.
Private individuals and families are also a cornerstone of our success. As the need rose in our community due to COVID, so did our donations from individuals. In times of need they demonstrated a level of generosity to warm any heart.
Without the support of this community we would not be the successful organization we have become. We are blessed and humbled by the support our entire community provides. Our community is no doubt the engine that drives NGCC.

Our volunteers
If our community is the engine to NGCC, our volunteers are the oil that ensure things are running smoothly. We are thankful for each of our volunteers for the time they dedicate to helping those in need. NGCC volunteers have risked their own health this year to ensure those in need did not go hungry. They also demonstrated a great degree of flexibility when shopping, packing bags, handing out or delivering food due to the COVID restrictions. We are thankful for every minute each volunteer gives at NGCC.

Our patrons
Finally, we are thankful for our patrons. NGCC is here to help, but asking for the help is not always easy. The ripple effect of COVID was deep and far reaching within our community. It created situational needs for those who may have never experienced the need before. With each distribution at NGCC there is a grateful individual on the receiving end. We are thankful for the health and well-being of all our patrons and their families.

Our community, volunteers and patrons are what make NGCC what it is. While this year has undoubtedly offered its share of hard times, we have rejoiced in the ability to be part of an organization that is supported by so many so we can funnel that support directly to those who need it most. We want thank everyone who has been a part of NGCC this year and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and happy holiday season!

Sincerely,
