Middlefield – Support small local business by attending the Geauga Small Business Expo on Friday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 2 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pine Craft Storage Barns, 13650 Madison Road (Route 528) in Middlefield (44062). More than 40 local businesses, many of them Amish-run, will participate showing products and services offered and bringing together, in one place, all the information you need to improve your home, both inside and out, and how you will save money.
Win door prizes, purchase Amish-baked goods, enjoy refreshments and more. Pine Craft Storage Buildings will raffle off a full size premium 10 by 14 cottage storage shed.
“This is a great way to explore a lot of small Amish businesses all in one convenient location,” said event coordinator and co-owner of Pine Craft Storage Barns, Paul Wengerd. “They are usually tucked away on the back roads.”
Both large and small businesses will bring products and information about septic systems, landscaping, alternative energy, siding, roofing, flooring, bedding, doors, furnishings, Coleman products, footwear and more. For spring home improvements look for windows, flooring, siding, lumber, roofing and several local builders will be on hand to get you started.
If you need a new look inside, come and visit with vendors featuring beautifully handcrafted Amish-made oak and cherry furnishings. To help spruce up your yard, you’ll find outdoor furniture, landscaping, and outdoor games. And you will need somewhere to store all your purchases; Pine Craft Storage Barns can certainly help you there.
