JA Garfield Pancake Breakfast
April 19 – James A. Garfield Student Council will be sponsoring an all you can eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 19 from 8am-noon at Garfield Elementary School. Pancakes will be served with sausage, juice, milk or coffee and pure maple syrup donated by Mark Apple. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $6 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. All proceeds will be donated to #GarrettsvilleStrong.
Garrettsville Groove
April 19 – 1.5 hours of fun exercise with local certified Zumba fitness instructors. Door Prizes, and Ticket Auction at conclusion of the event. Winners need not be present to win. Wear your #GarrettsvilleStrong t-shirt to be included in an additional drawing. Donations from the heart will be accepted with a $10 minimum. Proceeds to benefit #GarrettsvilleStrong. Great Ribs for a Great Cause!
April 23 – Blazin’ Bill’s Restaurant – Joyce Piteo, owner of Blazin’ Bill’s restaurant, knows firsthand the heartache of losing everything in a fire and starting over, so as part of her commitment to “Service Above Self” she is donating 50% of the proceeds from her restaurant the evening of Wednesday, April 23rd to the Garrettsville Chamber of Commerce to help in the rebuilding effort.
Garrettsville Fire Rock Relief Concert
April 26 – Benefit concert held at the G-plex in Garrettsville April 26, 2014 from noon to 9:00 pm. It will be a family friendly concert featuring 8 Northeast Ohio bands, with Chinese auctions. The band line up is: Been A Long Time Band, Boogie Man (a tribute to the music of AC/DC), Bringing Benatar (a tribute to the music of Pat Benatar), Everhard, Party Train, Straight On (a tribute to the music of Heart), The Contradiction, The Toyz. Tickets available at the Villager office weekdays.
