Garrettsville – The first round of Garrettsville Idol is in the books. The field has been narrowed from 45 contestants to 35 semi-finalists. The semi- finalists will compete in front of a live audience at the Iva Walker Auditorium in James A. Garfield High School on May 20.
There will be two shows — the teens and youth will perform at 4 pm and the adults will perform at 6pm. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased by calling Aaron King at (330)524-2646 at the door on the day of the semi-final show. Tickets are $3 per show.
The youth semi- finalists are as follows Elishabeth Shay, Adrien Hunter, Ashley Yankello, Madi Seiler, Aby Seiler, and Sophia Scarvelli.
Teen semi-finalists are Chad Angermeier, Malisa Barnes, Chito Torrez, Olivia Nelson, Hailey Rezebek, Brooke Behnke, Olivia Sheer, Madi Scarvelli, Cheyenne Head, Elek Kitchen and Elizabeth O’Bryant.
Adults which will take the semi-finals stage are Rachel Reynolds, Ryan Davis, Rachael Maddox,Jayana Davenport, Kaylee Martin, Haylee Tasker, Jason Stachowski, Samantha Russell, Cory Vukmer, Justin Knight, Tammy Gough, Kristina Rossi, Cali Apthorpe, Michael Jajcinovic, Tiffany Bolton, Eric Juzkiw, Raelynn DeBevits and Jon Crane.
The contestants who become finalists will perform on the main stage at Garrettsville Summerfest on June 24, 2018.
