Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary met on August 4, 2025 with a full picnic of programs to discuss; these included:
• Approval of the group mission statement
• Attendance at the upcoming Guardians game–tickets
• Two projects needing various approvals
• Latest developments in the abutment mural (new substrate to adhere to)
• Things coming together for the Reverse Raffle on November 5 (this being the 41st year of the annual fund-raiser, after various iterations)
• New memberships sought
• Possible sponsorship of a chess club for HS students
• Regular financial reports
• Well-wishes to Pam Montgomery who is researching local Rotary history to celebrate next year’s centennial observance
• Listing of 2025’s accomplishments…HooRah !
• Motion to expand Happy Bucks donations to Windham
• Happy Bucks–”just becuz”, good weekends and work done x 2, good thoughts over all
