The Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary met in airconditioned comfort at Cal’s II to discuss he following topics :
* Information to go to the district newsletter…poster featuring Owen Bass
* Tickets for the Guardians baseball game
* Samples of lockbox models and their features–more consultation with first responders–keys or codes, applications for participation–check with other communities where these are in use–information flyers
* Centennial celebration project–location, sponsorships?–contractor consultation–village input–BIG project
* Reverse Raffle–menu finalized, decor, sponsors list/expansion, fund-raising goal
* Mural difficulties and possible solutions–wrap will not stick, panels to adhere to?
* Sponsorship of a chess club?
* Mission statement : As an inclusive, action-oriented service organization, Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary lives the motto “Service above Self” by strengthening our community, building friendships and having fun along the way.
That about says it. It’s all good.
