The June 9, 2025 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary covered a wide range of topics including the news that the long-awaited mural replacing the Garrettsville train on Windham St. should be in place by SummerFest (This was a Mark Brady project). The HopeTownOhio project will be be getting some assistance assembling their outdoor enhancements. The RYLA picnic will be coming right up; all participants must have completed the youth awareness training. Local developments and facilities’ planning were major discussion topics. Reverse Raffle planning continues, with catering options expanding, among other things. The youth training will be repeated in July; how to consolidate this? Crane’s crane will be in the small garden near the JAGHS–with a plaque identifying it and acknowledging Rotary support.
Happy Bucks came in to acknowledge a Boys’ State experience, fifty years in business, an open house with Mom, a pool opened and used, a grandson making progress.
