The April 14, 2025 meeting of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary covered a miscellany of action items, including :
Invitations to the upcoming community input session at the Mill, Reverse Raffle catering info, benches ordered for the Renaissance Center in Windham, consultation with the Village concerning the Tom Collins Memorial Rotary Walking Trail (cheers to Maintenance), RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards)coming to Hiram College this year–G-H Rotary acting as”host club” and participating in various activities–students from Garfield and Windham high schools will be attending, Owen Bass will be asked to be a speaker when he returns from his exchange student experience in India, more encouragement needed for InterAct students for participation, G-H Rotary will have a display at the district conference. It was all odd business.
Happy Bucks were offered for the arrival of Spring (so far, anyway), the end of tax season, a maintenance dude arriving, flowers, joining Rotary, memories of a HS friend, existence (unanimous).
