And also…. There was considerable discussion of the proposed walking loop at the South Street (Bill Phelps) Park, mostly concerning presentation to council, especially with reference to maintenance & upkeep, as well as possible collaboration with other interested groups, such as the Garrettsville Eagles and the Sierra Club; other interested groups and individuals could be involved and contributing.
Possibilities for future Rotary Social events inviting community members to get together and socialize–Eagles’ Wing Night? The semi-annual Roadside Clean-up will be on Friday, October 14, beginning at 9:00 a.m. from Hillbrook Farm. A new member induction may be in the offing. A Memorial Night at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson will be held for families and survivors–those grieving– on October 27, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
A western/family trip, preaching at Nelson, grandbabies of all ages and the joy of the season were all origins of contributions to Happy Bucks.
