Garrettsville – The Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary Club met on June 19, 2023 to discuss the following items of business:
The required donation to the Rotary International Fund will be going in by June 30. Eligibility for grant awards is contingent upon this.
The annual Summer Steak Fry/Hot Dog Dinner is likely to be on or around August 21; the arrival of this year’s exchange student will be a feature.
This year’s community beautification project has been deemed fundable. Debate on particulars continues.
There has been continuing good feedback on the golf outing and good thoughts on the continuing attention to the Headwaters Trail…also some thoughts on recognizing local sponsors and supporters at these locations.
A commemorative gift to Hiram College honoring Carol Donley has yet to be finalized.
