The Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary Club met on March 7 & 14 to discuss the following business items :
? Possible grants–a walking loop at the South Street Park, work at the Baptist Cemetery
? Return to weekly meetings at Cal’s II, Sky Plaza, Garrettsville, noon

? Hope for the return of several members who have been lately overwhelmed with other activities, also reaching out to Mormon members from the Historic Johnson Farm

? District 6630 Earth Day park project–local participation
? Semi-annual roadside clean-up coming soon
? Lisa Muldowney reported on her attendance at the Ohio PETS (Presidents-Elect Training Session) event held last weekend in Columbus. Other than the travel/weather delays, it was most successful, with outstanding speakers–Katie Spotz, a multi-sport achiever, and J. Clark on motivational communication. Our Garrettsville-Hiram club has excellent operational status–getting things done, entertaining new ideas, reaching out to the community. The year’s new motto, “Imagine Rotary” is practiced here.
? An invitation will go out to the district governor to attend a local meeting
