Garrettsville – The Garrettsville Farmers’ Market is excited to announce their first Private Farm Tour Series. Offering a chance to experience how food is grown and raised, these guided tours will include demonstrations, hands-on activities, and tastings, providing an inside look into the care, craft, and history of farming and agriculture.
The first tour will take place on 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Saturday, May 15 at Birdsong Farm located on Wheeler Road in Garrettsville. During the event guests will have an opportunity to tour the greenhouses and fields while learning about regenerative agriculture and certified organic farming. The tour will conclude with an open Q & A with farm owner Matt Herbruck. Guests will also receive a special take home gift.

The Garrettsville Farmers’ Market operates each Thursday 4:00 – 7:00 pm each Thursday, June 3 through August 26 on Main Street in downtown Garrettsville; offering fresh, local produce, eggs, meat, cheese, confections, maple syrup, honey and more. SNAP, TANF, Produce Perks and Senior Nutrition Vouchers are accepted.
