To all our patrons: Private rentals cannot be booked until we know when and if a new lease agreement is in place. Our new landlord wants a substantial increase which is not sustainable even if we increase admission/concession prices. Sadly, this seems to be a one-sided negotiation. Sadly, he lives out of town and does not know the history of our hometown cinema.
We are heartbroken to say the least but hopeful for a favorable resolution.
We will honor those who have booked for March and the beginning of April at this time. If things change, those affected will be notified.
As always, we thank you all who have become like family and hope to continue to serve you. We will remain transparent throughout this transition, no matter the outcome.
