Garfield Historical Society Receives Grant

Garrettsville – The James A. Garfield Historical Society has been awarded a grant from the Hiram Community Trust.  The grant is titled “Preserving Our Community’s Past, Present, and Future Pride.  Funds provided by the grant will be used to purchase the hardware and software needed to inventory and archive items and documents.  This will make information more readily available and easily accessible for our members and the community.  Upon completion, our information will be shared with the Hiram College Archives for mutual benefit.  We thank the Hiram Community Trust for this award and look forward to this project.
