If you are a gardener, you don’t want to miss this event.  There’s so much going on and over 1500 perennials, trees, bushes, herbs, annuals….all donated by Master Gardeners, friends of Master Gardeners, arboretums and Master Gardener nursery friends.  Admission is free.  People from out of state have come each year to this event.  The Geauga County Master Gardeners invite you to their plant sale and a day of free fun activities and demonstrations, all in the name of community education and scholarships.  Come to Burton Century Village on the circle at Rt. 87 and Claridon Troy Road for Gardens Galore, Art and More,  Wednesday, June 19, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Pick out your plants from the large selection — perennials, annuals, houseplants, herbs, trees, shrubs, vegetables and tropicals —  and put them on hold while you peruse the Garden Art and Attic Treasures for special one-of-a-kind pieces.  Sample the free decadent desserts and visit the mini gardening classes and demonstrations.  Enjoy the  craft demos from local artisans in quilting, rug weaving, willow furniture, origami and dyeing with plant colors.  Bring your tools for sharpening at a small fee.

This is a fun gardening event with much to offer.  It’s a day packed full of gardening tips and advice.  Profits support the Geauga Co. Master Gardener Scholarship Fund.  For more information call or visit our site.  440-834-4656  www.geauga.osu.edu
