Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary meeting on September 9, 2024 covered plenty o’ ground, beginning with the items/documents to be placed in the new ( 80 year) time capsule to be dedicated on September 21, 2024 by the James A. Garfield Historical Society; these include Rotary officers, events and projects across the years.
For the Grand Opening of the Tom Collins Rotary Memorial Walking Trail plans are being made for a suitably gala event, with speakers, luminarias, invitations (to all the community), refreshments and general celebration of the community vision which Tom Collins was known for. Everyone should mark calendars for October 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. Wear walking attire; it’ll be ready to go.
