Checks are still rolling in from the recent Golf Outing at SugarBush. Final touches on the TCMRT at the park—such as paving, benches, and signage—are progressing well, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned upon completion. The mural project might take a new direction with a vinyl approach; more details to come.
Discussions on enhancing attendance and updating the meeting format included ideas such as holding gatherings on the second and fourth Mondays, inviting guests and speakers, and promoting socializing (next event: July 23 at Shorty C’s, 6:00 p.m.). New ideas are being introduced to refresh the club’s activities.
Planning has begun for the Reverse Raffle, scheduled for November 13. Additionally, the Guardians’ Rotary ball game, supporting the Polio Plus drive, is set for August 2.
“Happy Bucks” contributions celebrated various joys: the impending arrival of a grandson, a fun weekend, potential eye treatment, a tour with a sister, and an invitation to the ribbon-cutting for the Dorothy & Corbett Walker Bike and Hiking Trail.
